What does it really mean to follow Jesus?
When Jesus called His first disciples, He did not simply invite them to believe a set of truths. He called them to leave the familiar, be with Him, learn from Him, be formed by Him, and eventually be sent out to participate in His mission.
Calling of the Disciples explores the biblical, historical and cultural world behind that call. From the fishing communities of Galilee to the relationship between rabbis and disciples, this study follows the journey from being CALLED → WITH HIM → FORMED → SENT.
Through Scripture, reflection, study questions, journaling, prayer and family discussions, you will discover that discipleship is not merely about doing something for Jesus. It begins with being with Him.
