Discover the deeper significance of Jesus’ baptism and the extraordinary revelation that marks the beginning of His public ministry.

This Bible study workbook invites you to explore the baptism of Jesus within its biblical, historical and cultural context. Look beyond the familiar scene at the Jordan and discover the significance of John the Baptist’s ministry, Jesus’ decision to be baptised, the opening of the heavens, the descent of the Holy Spirit and the Father’s declaration over His beloved Son.

Trace the connections between Jesus’ baptism and the Old Testament, explore themes of identity, anointing and mission, and discover why this moment is far more than simply the beginning of Jesus’ public ministry.
